About

Here you’ll find musings about golf and music – from the fairways to the rough, where my golf game and musical tastes reside.  These subjects, along with writing, are my passions.

I started to chase the little white ball around Westmount Golf & Country Club in Kitchener, Ont., as a junior. A love of words soon followed. My first rock concert was The Who at the CNE when I was in Grade 10. The live music is better bug stuck and I’ve never looked back – seeing and covering hundreds of concerts over the years.

Currently in Toronto, I contribute to Golf Canada, SCOREGolf, Ontario Golf, Fairways, ClubLink Life and Pro Shop Magazine in Canada. In the U.S. I’m a regular contributor to: Golf Course Industry. In 2007, two of my essays were featured in Mike Bell’s photographic book: The Golf Courses of Stanley Thompson.
